Still got questions?
Got you covered on the common ones…

Digital PR is where PR, SEO and brand authority come together.
It’s about understanding where your business needs to be more visible online, then building a PR strategy that gets you there. We build authority around the topics your business should be known for, earn relevant backlinks that strengthen commercially important pages, get your experts cited by journalists and make sure your brand shows up in the publications and places your customers already trust.
At Belta PR, we do that through a combination of news-led, authority-led, purchase-led and conversation-led PR, using everything from reactive PR and expert commentary to product PR, original data and creative campaigns.
The goal isn’t coverage for coverage’s sake. It’s PR with a clear purpose, designed to strengthen your authority, improve organic visibility and make your brand harder to miss across search, media and AI.
-
A digital PR consultant works out where PR can make the biggest difference to your business, then builds and delivers the strategy to make it happen.
At Belta PR, we research your industry and competitors, analyse your backlink profile, uncover where the opportunities lie, develop newsworthy stories, work with your internal experts and create campaigns journalists genuinely want to cover.
And we do the outreach too. We find the right journalists, pitch the stories, manage responses, secure coverage and keep one eye on the news agenda for the next opportunity.
Think of us as an extension of your team, bringing the strategy, creativity, journalist know-how and hands-on delivery needed to make digital PR actually happen.

If anything, it’s becoming more important.
Ranking well on Google still matters, but brands now need to think about how they’re being discovered through AI search too. And digital PR builds something that matters across both: genuine authority around your brand.
Strong digital PR earns authoritative backlinks, gets your brand mentioned, gets your experts cited and builds associations between your business and the topics you want to be known for across trusted third-party sources.
So, we’re not just building links.
We’re building the wider authority and visibility that can influence how your brand is discovered across search, media and AI.
-
Absolutely. And it’s quickly becoming another reason digital PR matters.
Research analysing more than 25 million links cited by ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini found that 84% came from earned sources, compared with just 0.3% from paid and advertorial content.
That matters because digital PR gets your brand mentioned and cited across the trusted third-party sources AI platforms use to discover and understand businesses.
It’s why our strategies look at where your brand is already appearing in AI search, which sources are influencing those answers and where earned media could strengthen your visibility.
-
Every new client starts with a standalone digital PR strategy, priced as a one-off piece of work.
This gives us the time to properly dig into your business, competitors, backlink profile, SEO priorities, LLM visibility and existing brand authority before building a complete digital PR strategy and three-month plan around what your brand actually needs.
From there, you have two options: take the strategy away and deliver it internally, or bring Belta PR in to deliver it for you.
Our ongoing retainers start from £1,500 + VAT per month, with a minimum three-month commitment. There are no set packages; the final investment depends on the level of support and PR activity we recommend for your brand.
-
Not at all. Belta PR might have been born in the North East, but you certainly don’t need an NE postcode to work with us.
We work remotely with businesses across the UK, slotting into existing SEO, marketing and PR teams wherever they’re based. And when there’s value in getting together in person, we’re more than happy to travel for strategy sessions, meetings or client days.
We’re incredibly proud of our North East roots (the clue is probably in the name), but there are no geographical limits on who we work with.
-
Yes. In fact, we prefer digital PR to be connected to your wider strategy rather than sitting in its own little PR bubble.
We can work directly with your in-house marketing or SEO team, or alongside your existing agency, to understand where you need more authority, which topics matter, where competitors are outperforming you and which parts of the site could benefit most from digital PR.
You get specialist digital PR expertise that works alongside the people already driving your wider strategy.
-
No, and we’d be wary of any digital PR consultant or agency that does.
Journalists ultimately decide what they cover and whether they include a backlink, so genuine earned media can never come with a guaranteed link count.
Some services that promise a set number of links each month rely on paying for placements rather than earning them editorially. Those links aren't cheap, may offer little of the authority you’re actually paying for and, if they’re designed to manipulate search rankings, can also fall foul of Google’s spam policies.
And frankly, 10 relevant, authoritative links earned because a journalist genuinely wanted to cover your story can be far more valuable than 20 secured simply to hit a target.
That doesn’t mean working without accountability. We report transparently on the coverage, backlinks, brand mentions and wider impact we’re building.
Our focus is on earning links that are actually worth having, not hitting an arbitrary number on a monthly report.

Belta PR isn’t tied to one industry. Our experience spans finance, travel, health, home and interiors, automotive and so many other sectors, and that variety has led to some very different stories over the years.
We’ve uncovered which industries offer the worst maternity and paternity leave, calculated how much celebrity engagement rings could be worth, advised travellers on their rights when flights are cancelled and even analysed the success rate of Married at First Sight couples.
That variety is one of the things we love about digital PR. Every industry has a different audience, different challenges and different opportunities to make headlines.
Our job is to understand yours and find the stories, conversations and opportunities your brand has a genuine reason to be part of.
